I made these cute little Vampire bats 2 years ago for Halloween out of wooden doll pins, paint and felt. They are pretty easy, even my son (who at the time was 8) made a couple with me.
If you decide to make these and can't find the doll pin stands (boo on Michael's, they are not carrying so many things I use these days!!), you can stick the doll pins in blobs of Sculpey clay.
This craft is suitable for kids as well as adults. Have fun!
